This is Fansile. I'm a Beijing based independent film critics. Fansile + Films is a platform for sharing the distinguish analyses of contemporary Chinese films from my fellow critics and me. We approach every film with a focus on innovative, originality and the connection with society. For over four years, Fansile has been providing content for research project, printed, online and mobile medias. Each project is handled with unique perspective and integrity. Fansile + Films will be carry on to studies not only films but also NGO communication cases in the near future.

Our curiosity from Cultural Studies:
Cultural studies is an academic field which combines political economy, communication, sociology, social theory, literary theory, media theory, film/video studies, cultural anthropology, philosophy, museum studies and art history/criticism to study cultural phenomena in various societies. Cultural studies researchers often concentrate on how a particular phenomenon relates to matters of ideology, nationality, ethnicity, social class, and/or gender.

In order to constantly expanding, not restricting, the range of cinema that audiences can see, we encourage both good film products and public film screening.
